What Spreader is
Spreader is a publishing tool: you upload a video once and Spreader helps you publish it to the social media accounts you have connected. This policy explains what information Spreader collects, why, and what happens to it.
Information you give us
Account details. When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address and profile picture so we can create and identify your Spreader account.
Your content. This includes the videos you upload, the captions and settings you enter, the names and logos you give your networks, and the profile picture you optionally add in Settings.
Connected accounts. When you connect a social account (such as TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, X or Threads), Spreader receives permission tokens through that platform's official sign-in. We use these tokens only to publish on your behalf and to read the profile details and view statistics of the connected account.
How we use your information
We use your information to operate Spreader: to show your dashboard, publish videos to the accounts you choose, display statistics for your published posts, and keep your account secure. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your content to train AI models.
Connection tokens are stored encrypted and are only used when you (or a publishing action you started) need them.
Sharing with third parties
Spreader shares data only with the services needed to run the product:
• Social platforms (such as TikTok, Google/YouTube, Meta, X and Snapchat) — when you publish a video or read statistics for a connected account.
• Sign-in providers (Google and Apple) — to verify who you are when you sign in.
• Hosting and storage providers — to run the app and store your videos and images securely.
We share only what is necessary for the specific action, and we never publish anything without you asking for it.
Storage and security
Your data is stored in a hosted database with encryption in transit and at rest. Access to your data is protected by your sign-in session: each account can only read and change its own networks, accounts, videos and statistics.
Videos and images you upload are stored privately and are only shared through temporary, signed links.
Cookies and local storage
Spreader uses browser local storage to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Data retention and deletion
Your data is kept as long as your account exists. You can delete individual items at any time: remove a network, disconnect a social account, or delete a video.
You can delete your entire account in Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your profile, networks, connected account links, uploads and statistics.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page. Significant changes will be announced in the app.
